ALL CHILDREN DESERVE A GOOD START IN LIFE



A child who is orphaned or has a devastating background, who is lacking access to food, shelter and decent education, or is living on the streets in a poor country like Zimbabwe is extremely vulnerable. For these children, living to see the next day is all they need.

At the Good Shepherd Centre, 50 kms out of Harare in Chinhoyi, we care for orphaned and vulnerable children and provide them with the basic needs every child has the right to have. Importantly we also provide, beyond food and shelter, a Christian set of principles and schooling. We would like to share our story and hopefully for you to extend a helping hand.

Zimbabwe is a country that is burdened with economic, social and health problems, already making it a challenging way of living for ordinary citizens. What then of children who have been abandoned and in most cases have severe health challenges, HIV and mental trauma. There is no safety net for these children if we do not reach out to help them?
